Speechify text to speech Chrome extension quick start guide

1. Install Speechify using the Google Chrome app store link here: Speechify Google Chrome App.

2. Add the extension to Chrome.

3. Pin it for easy access using the jigsaw puzzle extensions icon on the top right of chrome shown here.

You should now be able to now access the Speechify extension from the blue squiggly line icon on the top tight of chrome shown here. 

From here you can customize the speech voices and configure the extension to your preference. Once installed, the play button will read any text that is being displayed in the Chrome window you are in. 

If you wish to have it read certain parts in a chrome window or text outside of chrome. You will need to access the settings of the extension by going into the cog wheel icon and selecting the PDF icon with the camera. This feature will allow you to take a screen grab of your screen, and it will attempt to read any text in the selection you've made.
