New computer setup, College of Nursing

Important: The University uses Admin By Request (ABR) to grant administrator access for users to install programs and gain administrator privileges. Please familiarize yourself with these instructions if administrator access is needed.


When signing into applications use your <NetID>@arizona.edu email address.

  1. Open Company Portal (PC) or Self Service (Mac) to install the following:
    1. Adobe Creative Cloud
    2. Adobe Acrobat (install from Creative Cloud on PC)
    3. Box Drive
    4. Zoom Plugin for Outlook
  2. Add printers: PC printers instructions        Mac printer instructions
  3. Export and import bookmarks from your previous computer: Export/Import bookmark instructions
  4. VPN- Cisco AnyConnect has already been installed. The first time you connect you will need to enter vpn.arizona.edu under Ready to connect before being prompted for your username and password.
  5. Create an email signature: https://help.nursing.arizona.edu/portal/en/kb/articles/create-an-email-signature (tip, you can also copy and paste your signature from a previously sent email if available
  6. Update your CON website directory information  https://www.nursing.arizona.edu/resources/con-website-directory
  7. If you need a Zoom phone number, please contact UITS Telco at 520-621-8999.
  1. If you are new to the University of Arizona, sign in to https://arizona.zoom.us to create your University Zoom account.
  2. If you are new to the University of Arizona, create your UA Box account. Create UA Box account
