Mobile device email settings


How to setup email on your mobile device


iOS Settings (Mail on iPhone, iPad)

You can see screenshots at the step-by-step instructions from Microsoft.

  1. Settings > Mail > Accounts.
  2. Add an Exchange account or edit your existing work email account. 
  3. Leave Domain blank.
  4. Use <netid>@arizona.edu for Username, even if you use a different email address. Do not just put your NetID.
  5. Password: 
  1. If you are running iOS11 or later on your mobile device, use your NetID password. When you sign in, indicate that this is your work account and you will go through WebAuth and NetID+. 
  2. For older iOS verions, generate an app password to use for Password. Note: This is not the Secondary (CatMail) Password emailed to you when your NetID password is created/changed.


Android Mail Settings

  1. Go to your device's Settings and Account creation. Some device/Android versions are: 
  1. Settings > Add account > Exchange and Office 365
  2. Settings > Cloud and accounts > Accounts > Add account > Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
  3. Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account > Exchange
  1. If you have an Exchange account for UAConnect, remove it first and add a new account, as above.
  2. Use <netid>@email.arizona.edu, even if you use a different email address.
  3. Generate an app password to use for Password. Note: This is not the Secondary (CatMail) Password emailed to you when your NetID password is created/changed.
  4. If you have the option to enter Domain, enter <netid>@arizona.edu.
  5. If you have the option to enter Server, enter outlook.office365.com.
